Association

Association

For more than thirty years, Front Runners de Paris has made running a space where everyone can take part, improve and be themselves.

Since 1992

Founded in Paris in 1992, the club brings people together through running, friendship and a shared commitment to inclusion.

Open to everyone

As an LGBTQIA+ and ally association, we welcome every level, identity and orientation in a respectful environment.

Volunteer-led and democratic

The club is powered by its members. Its main directions are shared and decided through a transparent non-profit structure.

An international network

We are part of the Front Runners movement, founded in San Francisco in 1974 and now present in many cities worldwide. The Paris association is officially recognised as serving the public interest.

Activism & Commitments

Running together is also a way to make sport more welcoming, more visible and more responsible.

Be yourself

We stand for sport where everyone can participate freely without hiding their identity, orientation or personal journey.

Visibility and anti-discrimination

By taking part in races and sporting events, we help make LGBTQIA+ people visible and challenge prejudice.

Acting together

We take part in Pride and work with community networks. Our Sport & Trans Charter commits us to respectfully welcoming trans and non-binary people.

More responsible sport

We aim to reduce the environmental impact of our activities through more thoughtful events, travel and everyday practices.

Volunteering

Front Runners de Paris is entirely volunteer-run. Every contribution, large or small, helps the community thrive.

At your own pace

You can help occasionally at an event or contribute more regularly, depending on your interests and availability.

Many ways to help

Welcoming runners, training, races, communications, events, logistics and club life all benefit from members’ ideas and skills.

Building connections

Volunteering is a chance to meet other members, share what you know and build a welcoming community together.

Social & Cultural Life

Club life continues well beyond the finish line. Throughout the year, we create easy opportunities to spend time together.

Getting together

Meals, picnics and recurring social evenings make it easy to meet in a relaxed setting, whether you are running a lot, a little or not that day.

Sharing culture

Books, theatre, cinema and cultural discoveries inspire outings suggested by and for members.

Travelling together

Races outside Paris, tournaments and group weekends combine sport, discovery and friendship.

Meet, run and get involved with us

Come for a run, become a member or send us a message. You do not need to be a member to take your first step.
